On the 23rd May, the Foundation and scholarship recipient, Teri Macdonald visited and delivered Pass it Forward balls to schools in her community, Hamilton. The foundation delivered 250 Pass It Forward balls to 5 schools ;Deanwell School, Glenview School, Peachgrove Intermediate, Knighton Normal School, Silverdale School. This will help schools to have access to the right sporting equipment to run PE classes, sports practices and motivate our youth to participate in physical activity. At a time where the importance of encouraging youth to stay active is a top priority. Scholarship Recipients are involved in the Pass It Forward programme to give back to their communities. “A key part of their scholarship is to ‘pay it forward’ and contribute back to their communities. The Pass It Forward programme provides a great opportunity to enable this” Karen Morgans, Scholarship Manager. Teri Macdonald participated by distributing the Pass It Forward balls to deserving schools throughout Hamilton. “ Very grateful to be able to be out giving back to the community today. It's awesome to see how thankful the schools are for receiving the balls” Teri adds.
