Anika is Weightlifter attending Manurewa High School.
She is a Commonwealth Youth Champion securing Gold and a new competition best in the Snatch and a Youth Commonwealth Record of 100kg when she competed in India in September 2025. She also won Bronze in the Junior +86kg.
Her aim is to make the next Commonwealth Games team to compete in Glasgow in 2026.
