Avah is a netballer and a 7's rugby player who also competes in Athletics and is a student at Howick College, who won the Condor 7's in 2024 and as a result qualified to play in Japan in the Sanix World Youth 7's tournament.

Ava is currently in the Northern Comets and NZ U21 Netball squad and aspires to be in the World Youth Champs team for Gibraltar in 2025. She plays GD & GK and is Captain of the Howick College netball team. In 2024 in only the second time in the school's history, Avah played in the Howick College team that won the NZ secondary schools netball championship.

She was also in the NZ 7's U18 team in 2023. In 2022/2023 Auckland Athletics she won gold in the hurdles and high jump and ranked 4th in NZ for U18's at the age of 15 years old.
