Avah is a netballer and a Touch player who also competes in Athletics and is a student at Howick College.

Ava is currently in the NZ U21 Netball squad and aspires to be in the World Youth Champs team for Gibraltar in 2025. She plays GD & GK and is Captain of the Howick Pakuranga Under18 rep team which placed 4^th in New Zealand this year. In 2024 in only the second time in the school's history, Avah played in the Howick College team that won the NZ secondary schools netball championship.

She was also in the NZ 7's U18 team in 2023. In 2022/2023 Auckland Athletics she won gold in the hurdles and high jump and ranked 4th in NZ for U18's at the age of 15 years old.
