At just 18 years old, Braxton's hard work earned her the fullback jersey in the Blues who won the Super Rugby Aupiki Championship in 2025. Her exceptional talent quickly made her one of New Zealand rugby's brightest stars, earning her a starting Black Ferns jersey for the 2025 Pacific Four Series, where she debuted with two tries.
A standout from Auckland Girls Grammar, Braxton has excelled in both Rugby League and Rugby Union. She was a key member of the 2023 Farah Palmer Cup Champion Auckland Storm, earning the Rookie of the Year award. Her earlier accolades include being named NZ Rugby League U16 Girls' Player of the Year in 2022. In 2024, Braxton represented New Zealand in the U18 7s World Cup (and was selected for the Tournament Team), while also leading both the Auckland Storm and the national champion Auckland Vulcans U18 rugby league team as their starting fullback.
