Charis is a Basketballer from Mt Maunganui and attends Mt Maunganui College.
She was in the NZU16 Women’s Basketball team that won silver in the Asia Cup held in Malaysia. In the 2025 season Charis was a training partner for the Whai basketball franchise in New Zealand’s professional women's basketball league
