Holly was awarded a scholarship in the 1st TDF Class of 2018 while she was a student at Selwyn College. As a tennis player she won back-to-back NZ National Championships in doubles competitions (2017 & 2018).

She represented NZ in the World Junior Teams Final and also held the No.2 ranking in NZ U18 doubles in 2019 and was ranked No.1 in NZ U16 singles in 2017. Holly received the Chris Lewis Honors Award which honors the highest ranked Auckland junior in the ITF rankings.

She returned to NZ in 2025 after completing a 4year Bachelor of Communications at Boise University in Idaho where she competed for the university as an ITA Scholar-Athlete on a tennis scholarship.
