Jacqueline is a Surf Lifesaver and Kayak Sprinter from Gisborne Girls High School and Poverty Bay Kayak Club. Her career highlights to date are representing New Zealand in the 2024 Asia pacific Canoe Sprint Cup and the ICF Junior & U23 Canoe Sprint World Championships. She has also been selected for the junior high performance squad for lifesaving for 2024/2025. Notably she has achieved national titles in both kayaking and surf lifesaving.
In 2025 she was named as the Junior athlete of the year by Canoe Racing NZ and she was the NZ Secondary School Kayaking National Champion. Later at the National NZ Canoe Sprint championships 2025, Jacqueline won golds in the U18 K1 200m 500m and 1000m as well as golds in the team boats for Junior mixed K2 500m, Open women K200m and K2 500m with Aimee Fisher and the Junior Mixed Relay 100m. A total of 7 gold medals representing Poverty Bay KC. She is ready to head off to the ICF Junior World Championships in Portugal where she will also race with her brother.
