Jyordanna is from Lower Hutt in Wellington and attended Wainuiomata High School and Sacred Heart College, and played basketball for the New Zealand team at the 2022 FIBA Asian Championship in India. 

Having played for age group teams for many years, in 2020 she helped Hutt Valley to the runners-up spot at the Aon U17 National Championship.Also in 2020 Jyordanna was named to the NZ U17 squad. She also played for Capital Swish in the 2020 Sal’s NBL 18IN18

She secured a US scholarship and played 18 games in her freshman season at Auburn University at Montgomery before transferring to Dodge City Community College. 

In 2025 Jyordanna signed in the Australian league NBL1 for the Joondalup Wolves.
