K'Lee Begbie is a halfback and studied at Putaruru College. Waikato Women’s U18 rugby team and the New Zealand Maori U18 team in 2019. 

She was also a recipient of the Adastra Foundation scholarship. In 2021 she won the University of Waikato Emerging Women's Player of the Year award at the Gallagher Rugby Awards. She has also been a member of the WRU Waikato FPC, CSR Chiefs Manawa, and the WRU Woman's Academy. 

K'lee was the winner of the Trustees Award for the TDF Class 2020.
