Kimberly has been playing netball since she was 4 years old. She studied at Nelson College for Girls and also played in the Senior A team at the South Island Secondary Schools tournament. It was here she was selected for the Netball NZ National Development Camp. This camp invites 50 promising under-19 netball players from around the country to a week-long training camp with coaches like Irene van Dyke and Temepara Bailey.

Kimberly is now studying at Christchurch University.
