Macy is a dedicated surf lifesaver and swimmer representing Piha SLSC, as well as a student at Mt Albert Grammar School in Auckland. This season, she claimed silver in the 200m freestyle at the NZ Short Course Championships and bronze in the U17 200m obstacle race at the Surf Life Saving Pool Nationals.

She was also selected to compete in the prestigious Piha Invitational, where she was part of the winning team in the Open Invitational event. In recognition of her achievements, Macy was named Piha SLSC’s U17 Athlete and Lifeguard of the Year.
