Petra attends Diocesan School for Girls in Auckland where she is on a Hockey Scholarship.
At only 15-years-old she was in the Premier Auckland U18 Hockey team. She plays for the Somerville Hockey Club in Auckland for the U16 and was drafted into the women’s club premium team playing alongside current Black Sticks.
She has also represented New Zealand in Ultimate (Frisbee) from the age of 14.
