Phoenix was a key member of the St Mary’s College Wellington Senior netball team. In 2022, as a Y11, Phoenix was selected for the NZ Secondary School netball squad. A sharp shooter, Phoenix’s Wellington U16 team finished 2nd at North Island U16 champs and in 2023 Phoenix was named in the A grade tournament team. As a schoolgirl she needed an exemption to play in the National Netball League (NNL) for Central Manawa.

In 2025 Phoenix is shooting for Central Manawa Netball in the NNL and was in the wider training for the  NZ U21 netball squad. 2026 saw Phoenix selected for the Central Manawa squad again.
