Ricshay is an accomplished dual code rugby player from South Auckland, who has represented both New Zealand at the youth level in rugby union and Samoa internationally in rugby league.
She attended Papatoetoe High School, where she won the "Young Sports Person of the Year for Girls Rugby" at the College Sport Auckland Awards
