Hailing from Dunedin,  beach sprinter Rosie competed in the Surf Lifesaving world champs in Italy in 2022. The NZ team placed 2nd overall and Rosie made the finals for both beach flags and beach sprints. Rosie competed at Eastern Regionals, Southern Regionals and TSB NZ Surf Lifesaving Championships in 2023. She also won Coach of the Year at the Otago / Southland Awards of Excellence.

After finishing school, Rosie moved to the Coromandel for a summer to work as a paid lifeguard and coach. She was the head of the new oceans development program at Whangamata SLSC, where she coached, coordinated and managed the junior coaches. All with the aim of developing 9-13 year olds into surf athletes and strong lifeguards. She has recently moved to Christchurch to take on a conjoint degree in mechanical engineering and sport performance data analysis.
