Dynamic point guard, Temepara, was a star at the 2022 U17 national basketball tournament. Part of the title winning Waikato team, she was named in the tournament team and also received the tournament MVP award.
In 2024 Hamilton Girls High School won the 3x3 grand final of the Basketball NZ 3x3 Secondary Schools National Championships, Temepara was awarded MVP and she was named in the NZ U18 Junior Tall Ferns Team for the FIBA U18 Asia Cup in China.
Temepara continues to play for the Waikato region.
