PASSING IT FORWARD

Beach volleyballer Lani Rawle took the Pass It Forward kaupapa to the North Shore in June, delivering balls to eight primary and intermediate schools, including Glenfield Primary, Beach Haven Primary, Onepoto School and Birkdale. Giving back like this is just one of the ways that Lani supports her community.

Now in her third year of her TDF scholarship, Lani knows what a difference access to the right gear can make. “Every kid should have the chance to have a ball, any ball.” These balls give local kids more chances to get out and play, in PE classes, at practice and in the playground.
